Worldwide Prospecting Day is a quarterly sales event focused on prospecting activities centered around a different campaign topic each quarter. In Q1 2022, the event’s program managers wanted to create a promotional video that would generate excitement for global sales teams, and present four sales motions around the topic of machine learning.

Brandon was approached with a two-page video script, and a pre-determined visual style of default template animations commonly used in most video projects. However, Brandon saw an opportunity to create something ground-breaking within the same allotted timeframe.

Having earned trust with the project team who were open to his alternative suggestions, Brandon wrote a script that proposed a visually bar-raising concept consisting of a time-lapse, stop-motion video of M&M pieces animating on a flat surface - custom-etched with the event topic of “machine learning” on each piece. Ten pounds of candy, and 40 hours later, Brandon shot, edited, and animated WWFE’s first stop-motion video.

This was bar-raising because Brandon re-shaped the strategy away from the standard five-minute, monotonous talking head seen in several training videos to a high-energy, groundbreaking visual spectacle.

After its launch in October 2022, the promo video that Brandon fully produced himself earned 14,507 views (39th highest alongside 319 other videos on the shared platform) and 19 five-star ratings.
